Apprehending his arrest, applicant- accused Jasdeep Singh Goraya has filed the present Application under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of Anticipatory Bail in connection with the Special Sessions Trial No.15 of 2022, pending before the Special Court/District and Sessions Judge, Dehradun under Section 3/4 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002.

2. Heard Mr. A.C. Singh, Mr. Manoj Singh and Ms. Radha Arya, learned counsel for applicant and Mr. V.K. Kaparuwan, learned counsel for respondent.

3. Mr. A.C. Singh, Advocate, contended that during the investigation, applicant was not arrested. Therefore, he should be granted anticipatory bail. Learned counsel for applicant has relied upon a judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court passed in "Satender Kumar Antil vs. Central Bureau of Investigation and Another", (2022) 10 SCC 51 and judgment dated 11.05.2023 passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Criminal Appeal No.1473 of 2023 "Roop Singh Yadav vs. Directorate of Enforcement (Lucknow Zonal Office)".

4. Mr. V.K. Kaparuwan, Advocate, has sought time for arguments.

5. List on 01.08.2023 for arguments on Anticipatory Bail Application.

6. Till then, it is directed that in the event of arrest of the applicant Jasdeep Singh Goraya, he will be released on Interim Anticipatory Bail on furnishing his personal bond of Rs. 30,000/- and two reliable sureties, each in the like amount, to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer / Arresting Officer with the condition that applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person, acquainted with the facts of this case.
