These are two connected Criminal Appeals, which are listed for consideration of the respective Delay Condonation Applications, which has been filed along with the Criminal Appeals, preferred against the judgment of conviction.
The delay, which has been sought to be condoned is that of 23 days respectively.
The Delay Condonation Application is opposed by the Government Advocate by filing objection through IA No. 3 of 2023.
Having heard the learned counsel for the parties on the Delay Condonation Application, this Court is of the view, that since the appellant has satisfactorily explained the delay of 23 days, which has chanced in filing the Appeal, the delay of 23 days would stand condoned.
With the consent of parties, heard the Appeals on admission.
Admit the Appeals.
Summon the LCR.
List these Criminal Appeals for consideration of the Bail Application after receipt of the records of the Court below.
In the meantime, the Government Advocate, may also file objection to the Bail Application.
