                                        Hon'ble Alok Kumar Verma, J.

The Revisionist was convicted for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of six months, along with a fine of Rs. 1,05,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Five Thousand). Against the said judgment dated 12.12.2017, passed by learned Judicial Magistrate/ Ist Additional Civil Judge (Junior Division), Udham Singh Nagar in Criminal Case No. 959/2013 (5433/2017), the revisionist had filed a Criminal Appeal (No. 249 of 2017). The said appeal has been dismissed. The revisionist is in judicial custody.

Heard Mr. Vikas Ananad, learned counsel for the revisionist through Video Conferencing.

Ms. Manisha Rana Singh, learned A.G.A. with Mr. Balvinder Singh and Mr. Tumul Nainwal, learned Brief Holders for the State.

Heard on Bail Application.

Mr. Vikas Anand, Advocate for the revisionist submitted that there are substantial doubts about the conviction.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and in the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the revisionist.

Let the revisionist- Mukesh Kumar be released on bail on his executing a personal bond and furnishing two reliable sureties, each in the like amount, to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court.

Registry is directed to send a soft copy of this bail order immediately by e-mail to the revisionist-prisoner through the concerned Jail Superintendent for necessary action.

Bail Application and Urgency Application (I.A. No. 1 of 2023) stand disposed of accordingly.
