The present Appeal has been filed against the judgment and order dated 20.01.2023/21.01.2023, passed by F.T.S.C./Additional Sessions Judge, Roorkee, District Haridwar in Sessions Trial No. 144 of 2021, "State Vs. Durgesh", by which, the appellant has been convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of ten years along with a fine of Rs.60,000/- for the offence punishable under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
