Mr. Shubhang Dobhal, learned counsel for the petitioner.

Ms. Seema Sah, learned counsel for the opposite party.

Writ petition filed by petitioner was disposed of with a direction to the Executive Officer, Nagar Palika Parishad, Harbertpur, Dehradun to consider and decide petitioner's representation in the light of certain judgments referred in the order.

Alleging violation of the order passed by writ court, this contempt petition was filed.

A compliance affidavit has been filed by opposite party enclosing therewith copy of the order dated 22.03.2021, whereby opposite party has decided petitioner's representation.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that there was a direction to respondent no. 3 to take decision in the light of judgment referred by writ court. He further submits that any of the judgment has not been referred in the rejection order.

This submission, however, is disputed by Ms. Seema Sah, learned counsel appearing for the opposite party.

Since the Competent Authority has considered the matter and cogent reasons have been assigned for non-grant of minimum pay scale, therefore, this does not appear to be a case of wilful disobedience of the order passed by writ Court.

Accordingly, contempt petition is closed. Notice issued to the opposite party is hereby discharged.
