Mr. Hem Chandra Joshi, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Mr. V.S. Rawat, learned Brief Holder for the State of Uttarakhand.
According to the petitioner, he was engaged as daily wager in Forest Department in the year 1991. His services were regularised in the year 2009 and he reached the age of superannuation on 31.03.2021.
Since retiral dues have not been released to the petitioner, therefore, he has approached this Court.
Mr. Hem Chandra Joshi, learned counsel for the petitioner has placed reliance upon a judgment rendered by Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Prem Singh & others vs. State of U.P. reported in (2019) 10 SCC 516.
After arguing for a while, learned counsel for the petitioner confines his prayer and submits that petitioner has made a representation on 11.02.2022 (annexure no. 3 to the writ petition) to the Competent Authority, who may be directed to take decision on petitioner's representation.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Divisional Forest Officer, Haridwar to take decision on petitioner's representation dated 11.02.2022 and pass appropriate order, as early as possible, but not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order along with copy of representation.
