This Criminal Appeal has been filed against the judgment dated 25.06.2022/ 27.06.2022, passed by the Special Sessions Judge (NDPS), Almora in Special Sessions Trial No.17 of 2020, "State vs. Charan Singh and Another", whereby the appellant

- Charan Singh has been convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of ten years along with a fine of Rs.1,00,000/- for the offence under Section 8 read with Section 20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

Heard Mr. M.S. Pal, learned Senior Advocate assisted by Mr. Sachin, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr. S.S. Adhikari, learned Deputy Advocate General for the State.
