Upon hearing the learned Counsel, the Court made the following
JUDGMENT :(per Sri S.K. Mishra, A.C.J.)
Mr. J.S. Virk, the learned Deputy Advocate General
appearing for the State, submits that he has received notice
from the Station House Officer, P.S. Roorkee, District
Haridwar, that they have visited the house of the petitioner
No.1, and she has submitted that, at present, she is residing
a peaceful life, and there is no need to give her police
protection.
2. In that view of the matter, it is argued by Mr. J.S.
Virk, the learned Deputy Advocate General, that there is no
need to file a counter-affidavit or to pursue with the writ
petition.
3. In that view of the matter, the writ petition is
disposed of.
4. In case, the petitioners face any further problem
and the cause of action persists in the shape of threat to their
lives and property, they are at liberty to file an application for
modification/recall of this order.
