Hon'ble Manoj Kumar Tiwari, J.
Mr. M.C. Kandpal, Senior Advocate, assisted by Mr. Chitrarth Kandpal, Advocate for the petitioner.
Mr. Sushil Vashistha, Standing Counsel for the State of Uttarakhand.
Heard learned counsel for the parties. Writ Petition filed by the petitioner was disposed of vide judgment dated 19.07.2019 with direction to the Competent Authority to make efforts for payment of arrears of the salary as per the 6th and 7th Pay Commission, arrears of the A.C.P., gratuity amount and leave encashment, within eight weeks.
Learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that although payment has been made to the petitioner, however, according to him, the payment made is not adequate and petitioner was actually entitled to more amount as retiral dues.
Since payment has been made to the petitioner, as admitted by learned senior counsel for the petitioner, therefore the Contempt Petition is closed. Contempt notices issued to respondent nos. 1 & 4 are hereby discharged.
However, petitioner shall be at liberty to approach the appropriate forum for redressal of his grievance, if any.
