No representation for the petitioner. Mr. Pradeep Hairiya, Standing Counsel for the State.

Writ Petition (S/B) No. 174 of 2020 filed by the petitioner was disposed of in terms of judgment rendered in Writ Petition (S/B) No. 49 of 2019. Writ Petition (S/B) No. 49 of 2019 was disposed of with the following directions:-

"11. The petitioner shall be treated as having been regularized from 16.12.2016, and shall be paid her salary and other emoluments, which a regular lecturer is entitled to, from that date.

12. As it is not in dispute that she continued to work as a lecturer even after the date of provincialization i.e. 06.11.2015, the petitioner shall also be paid the contractual salary of Rs.35,000/- per month from 06.11.2015 to 16.12.2016 (i.e. for the period before her regularization in terms of the G.O. dated 16.12.2016). She shall also be extended all consequential benefits such as seniority etc. Payment of the amount, as directed hereinabove, shall be made to the petitioner with utmost expedition; and, in any event, within three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order."

A compliance-affidavit has been filed by Smt. Radha Raturi, Principal Secretary, Higher Education. Annexure no.5 to the said affidavit is an order passed by Director, Higher Education on 12.11.2021.

Perusal of the said order indicates that petitioner has been given regular appointment as Lecturer-Geography w.e.f., 16.12.2016.

In such view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that the order passed by Writ Court has been complied with.

Accordingly, the contempt petition is closed.

Contempt notices issued to the respondents are hereby discharged.
