This Writ Petition has been filed belatedly, as the challenge is given to the judgment dated 16th July, 2019, which was passed in SCC Revision No. 31 of 2012. The Writ Petition was instituted on 2nd March, 2021 and it was adjourned in order to complete the instructions about the status of the execution proceedings.

When the matter was taken up today, the counsel for the petitioner had sought a short adjournment on account of his personal grounds. The same is granted.
