Citation : 2021 Latest Caselaw 2668 UK
Judgement Date : 28 July, 2021
CLCON No. 201 of 2021 Hon'ble Ravindra Maithani, J.
Mr. K.K. Tiwari, Advocate for the petitioner.
Mr. C.S. Rawat, Chief Standing Counsel for the State/respondents.
Mr. Deependra Kumar Chaudhari, respondent no. 2 is present in person through video conferencing.
Heard this matter through video conferencing.
A response affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent no. 2.
The only grievance which has further been raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that though he has been given notional promotion, but the financial benefit has yet not been given to him. He wants to file a response to the response affidavit.
Perhaps the response is not required. The matter may be heard.
Learned Chief Standing Counsel would argue that in view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, the arrears may not be granted to the petitioner.
When these lines were dictated, the learned counsel for the contempt petitioner would also submit that he has one more grievance that the contempt petitioner ought to have been given notional promotion from some earlier date.
Be that as it may, the matter shall be heard on 04.08.2021.
No document or response from any of the parties should be taken further, until specifically directed by this Court.
Personal appearance of respondent no. 2 is not required until specifically directed by this Court.
