                      JUDGMENT

1. This writ petition was filed in the year 2018 seeking following relief:-

(i) Issued a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to recheck and revaluate the answering sheet of the Hindi, Physics, Chemistry Subject of intermediate examination 2018 of the petitioner.

2. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent nos. 2 & 3. In para 4 of the counter affidavit, it has been stated that under the School Education Act, 2006 and the Regulations framed thereunder, there is no provision for re-evaluation of the answer sheets and the Rules permit only scrutiny of the answer sheet.

3. Since the relevant Statutory provisions do not permit re-checking/re-evaluation of the answer sheet of an examinee, therefore, the relief, as claimed in the writ petition, cannot be granted.

4. Accordingly, writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.
