                      JUDGMENT

By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought following reliefs:

"1- a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent to grant transit pass to the petitioner for transiting the Chhilka Guliya which has been purchased by the petitioner in a auction proceedings.

2- a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 to take a decision on the representation of the petitioner dated 2.5.2018."

2. As per the pleadings made in the writ petition, petitioner had purchased Chhilka Guliya in a public auction and he wanted permission for transporting the same from the place of purchase to some other place.

3. This writ petition was filed in July, 2018. More than three years have gone by since filing of the writ petition.

4. In such view of the matter, the reliefs, as claimed in the writ petition, do not survive.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition fails and is dismissed.

6. There will be no order as to costs.
