                           JUDGMENT

Heard learned counsel for the parties through video conferencing.

2. Petitioner is a Contractor. He submitted bid for work of construction of Cross Country Track in Maharana Pratap Sports College, Raipur, Dehradun. His bid has been rejected by General Manager, Construction Wing of Uttarakhand Peyjal Nigam vide Order No.2445 dated 08.07.2021. Thus, feeling aggrieved, petitioner has approached this Court.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that although petitioner's technical bid in respect of two other works has also been rejected on similar

ground, however, he is giving up challenge to such rejection and he confines his prayer to the extent that a direction be issued to respondent no.2 to take decision on the representation made by him on 10.07.2021, which is on record as Annexure-9 to the writ petition, expeditiously.

4. Mr. D.S. Patni, learned Senior Counsel appearing for respondent nos.2 and 3 assures the Court that if no decision has been taken on petitioner's representation, then appropriate decision shall be taken within two weeks.

5. Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.2 to take decision on petitioner's representation dated 10.07.2021 within a week from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. Till decision is taken, status quo shall be maintained qua the work in question.
