HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE S. DATTA PURKAYASTHA _O_R_D_E_R_

17/03/2026

Heard Mr. Dhruba Jyoti Saha, learned counsel for the applicants,

has prayed for modification of the order dated 11.02.2026, whereby a scope

was given to the said applicants to submit the counter-affidavit, subject to

payment of cost of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees two thousand) only to be deposited in

favour of High Court Employees' Welfare Fund Committee, High Court of

Tripura.

Learned counsel, Mr. Dhruba Jyoti Saha, prays for relaxation of

said payment of cost.

Court is not satisfied with the submission.

After 11.02.2026 also another date was fixed on 07.03.2026

when again on the submission of learned counsel, Mr. Saha, another seven

days' time was granted to submit counter-affidavit. At that time also no such

plea was taken for relaxation of said cost.

Thus, it appears that filling of such petition is for the purpose of

delaying the proceeding.

Considering thus, the interlocutory application is disposed of

being rejected.
