This is an application filed under section 173 of the MV Act, read with Section 5 of the Limitation Act, for condoning the delay of 34 days in preferring the appeal against the impugned judgment and award dated 21.06.2025 passed in TS (MAC) 217 of 2021 by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal No.2, West Tripura, Agartala. From the office note, it is revealed that despite service of notice upon the respondent No.6, there is no representation from the said respondent. Heard Mr. D. Sarma, learned counsel, appearing for the applicant. Also heard Mr. PS Roy, learned counsel appearing for the official respondent nos. 1 to 5.
After perusal of the contentions made in the petition for condonation of delay, this court finds satisfactory explanations. Accordingly, the delay of 34 days in preferring the appeal is hereby condoned and, the application is allowed and, thus disposed of.
