05.01.2026 Ld. Counsel Mr. Koomar Chakraborty has sought for

adjournment with permission to submit one additional

affidavit incorporating some subsequent events that the DM

and Collector of South Tripura in pursuance of decision of the

High Court in an earlier writ petition bearing No. WP(C) No.

954 of 2021, has forwarded his views to the Secretary,

Revenue Department, Government of Tripura recommending

that in pursuance of said judgment, similar benefits may be

extended to the present writ petitioners.

Ld. Counsel Mr. Chakraborty intends to place the said

communication in the record by way of additional affidavit.

Considered.

Additional affidavit, as sought for, may be submitted

within 2 weeks.

Ld. Addl. GA, Mr. M. Debbarma submits that he does

not have any information in this regard.
