Heard Learned Counsel, Mr. Arnab Kar appearing on behalf of the

petitioner. Also heard Learned Dy SGI, Mr. Bidyut Majumder appearing on

behalf of the respondents-Union of India.

It is the case of the petitioner that against the advertisement

dated 05.09.2024, the petitioner applied for the post of Constable(GD). He

qualified the written examination and was called for Physical Efficiency Test.

The petitioner qualified the Physical Efficiency Test and after that, he was

asked to appear for Detailed Medical Examination (DME) wherein he was

found unfit. The petitioner again appeared for Review Medical Examination

wherein he was again found unfit. So, his candidature was not considered.

Thereafter, the petitioner undergone medical tests in government hospitals

wherein he was found fit. He submitted representation to the respondent

authority which was not considered. Situated thus, the petitioner has filed

the present writ petition.

In view of the above, issue notice upon the respondents.

Since Learned Dy. SGI, Mr. Bidyut Majumder appears and accepts

notice on behalf of the respondents-Union of India, issuance of formal notice

is waived.

The petitioner is to take steps for causing service of notice upon

respondent Nos.3 and 4 both by normal process or by registered post with

A/D or Speed Post within 7(seven) days and file proof of service.

List the matter on 08.05.2026. In the meantime, the

respondents-Union of India may file their reply, if they so desire, supplying

copy to the other side.
