HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ARINDAM LODH 05.07.2024 Order Heard Mr. A. Bhaumik, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners in WP(C) No.68 of 2022 and Mr. P. Roy Barman, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. K. Nath, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners in WP(C) No. 968 of 2022.

At the time of hearing, Mr. Roy Barman, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners has drawn my attention to the Memorandum No.F.20(3)GA(P&T)/96, dated 15th December,2001 [Annexure-12 to the Writ Petition No. 968 of 2022].

Also heard Mr. S.S.Dey, learned Advocate General assisted by Mr. Kohinoor N. Bhattacharyya, learned G.A. and Mr. D. Sarma, learned Addl. G.A. at length.

Counter affidavit has been filed only in WP(C) No.68 of 2022 and Mr. Sarma, learned Addl.G.A. appearing in WP(C) No. 968 of 2022 has submitted that he has adopted the counter affidavit filed in connection with WP(C) 68 of 2022.

Mr. Bhattacharyya, learned G.A. has also prayed for submitting written notes in the instant writ petitions by tomorrow, i.e. 06.07.2024 which is allowed.
