HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR. APARESH KUMAR SINGH HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE S.D. PURKAYASTHA Order 12/08/2024 Since the present appeal has been filed after leave by the present
appellants, who were not a party to the writ proceedings, the subsequent
developments which have occurred in compliance of the impugned judgment
also need to be brought on record by the State-respondents as well as the
private parties. It is informed that pursuant to the order of the learned Writ
Court, the relaxation in Rule 34 of the Tripura Police Service Rules, 1967 has
been granted in favour of the private respondents by the department and they
have been consequentially promoted also. They are now working on the
promoted post in different places across the State.
Let these developments, therefore, be brought on record within a
period of 3(three) weeks by both the State and the private respondents. The
matter should appear after four weeks (10.09.2024) so that petitioner, if may
have something to reply, may do so within this time.
