HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR. APARESH KUMAR SINGH HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE ARINDAM LODH 04.07.2023 Order Heard Mr. K. Nath, learned counsel for the applicant/appellant and Mr. Ratan Datta, learned Public Prosecutor for the respondent-State.

The sole convict is the applicant/appellant aggrieved by the judgment and order of conviction and sentence dated 04.05.2023 passed in connection with case no. Special (POCSO) 25 of 2019 by learned Special Judge (POCSO), West Tripura, Agartala whereunder the applicant/appellant has been convicted for the offences punishable under Sections 376 AB/448/506 of IPC and Section 6 of POCSO Act and sentenced to suffer R.I. for 20 years and to pay fine of Rs.20,000/- for the offence punishable under Section 6 of POCSO Act, in default of payment of fine, the convict shall suffer S.I. for further 4 months and to suffer RI for 6 months and to pay fine of Rs.500/- for the offence punishable under Section 448 of IPC, in default of payment of fine, the convict shall suffer S.I. for further 10 days and to suffer R.I. for 1(one) year and to pay fine of Rs.1,000/- for the offence punishable under Section 506 of IPC, in default of payment of fine, the convict shall suffer S.I. for further 20 days and all the sentences of imprisonment shall run concurrently.

Call for the lower court records in connection with case no. Special (POCSO) 25 of 2019 from the Court of learned Special Judge (POCSO), West Tripura, Agartala.
