The present writ petition in effect seeks an implementation of

the judgment dated 19.04.2021 passed in WP(C) No.1745 of 2017 whereby

a Coordinate Bench of this Court directed the petitioner to first make an

application for registration under the TVAT Act and then seek issuance of

Form-C for the relevant years 2015-16 and 2016-17.

Mr. B.N. Majumder, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr.

Rajib Saha, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, submits that the

application for registration (Annexure-8) dated 20.05.2021 has not yet been

disposed of.

Learned counsel for the State is allowed 2(two) weeks' time to

seek instructions whether any decision has been taken on the application for

registration under the TVAT Act by the competent authority.

As such, let the matter appear on 15.05.2023 so that the

petitioner, if so advised, may file rejoinder thereto.
