[1] This Criminal Revision Petition has been

directed against the judgment and order dated 12.04.

2022 passed by the Sessions Judge of Unakoti

Judicial District at Kailasahahar in case No. Crl.

Appeal No.04(3) of 2021 affirming the judgment and

order dated 17.04.2021 of the Judicial Magistrate of

the First class passed in case No.CR(NI) 08 OF 2014

whereby the learned Judicial Magistrate convicted the

petitioner under Section 138 NI Act and sentenced

him to a fine of Rs.4 lakhs and in default to suffer SI

for 01 year.

[2] Heard Mr.K.Roy, learned counsel appearing

for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. Ratan Datta,

learned PP appearing for the state respondent.

[3] The Crl.Rev.Petition stands admitted.

[4] Issue notice to Respondent No.01. The

petitioner is required to take steps within a period of

5 days from today for service of notice on respondent

No.1.

[5] Service on behalf of state respondent is

waived by learned PP. It is stated by learned PP that

copy of the petition along with supporting documents

has been supplied to him.

[6] Call for the LC record.

Paper book shall be prepared soon after the

LC record is received.

List the matter on 12.07.2022.
