COMMON ORDER:
This Criminal Petition has been filed seeking to quash the
proceedings in S.C.SPL.No.228 of 2022 on the file of learned VII
Additional District Sessions Judge for SC/ST and (POA) Act Cases,
Warangal, Telangana, wherein the petitioners were arrayed as
accused Nos.1 to 4 for the offences punishable under Sections 420,
406, 323 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sections
3(1)(r)(s) and 3(2)(Va) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled
Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
2. Mr.M.Vivekananda Reddy, learned Assistant Public
Prosecutor for respondent No.1 fairly submitted that during
pendency of this criminal petition the Court below disposed of
S.C.SPL.No.228 of 2022 on 20.08.2025 by acquitting the petitioners.
3. In view of the same, learned counsel for the petitioners filed
I.A.No.1 of 2025 seeking permission for withdrawal of the criminal
petition. A copy of the judgment dated 20.08.2025 was filed along
with I.A.No.1 of 2025.
4. For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, I.A.No.1
of 2025 is ordered, permitting the petitioners to withdraw the
criminal petition.
5. Accordingly, the criminal petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
