JUDGMENT:
(per Hon'ble Sri Justice P.Sam Koshy)
Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing,
Mr. S.S.S.J.Anuraag, learned counsel appearing under the instructions of
Mr. M.V.K. Moorthy, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that
in spite of best efforts, the petitioner has not responded to the efforts
made in contacting with the counsel. In addition, it was also submitted
that the petitioner has also withdrawn the vakalat from their office.
2. In view of the aforesaid statement given by the learned counsel for
the petitioner pleading no instructions, we are compelled to dismiss the
tax revision case at this juncture reserving the right of the petitioner to
move appropriate revival petition in case if the grievance still survives.
3. The tax revision case is, accordingly, dismissed for want of
prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand
closed.
