Judgement Date : 18 June, 2025

Telangana High Court

Konne Mallika vs State Of Telangana on 18 June, 2025

Author: N.Tukaramji
Bench: N.Tukaramji
          THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE N.TUKARAMJI

CRIMINAL REVISION CASE Nos.1241 and 1242 of 2024

ORDER

These Criminal Revision Cases are filed by the petitioners

aggrieved by the judgment dated 11.09.2024 passed in Crl.A.Nos.7 and

8 of 2024 on the file of the I Additional Family Court-cum-XIV

Additional Metropolitan Sessions Court, Hyderabad and consequently

restore the orders in Crl.M.P.Nos.817 and 866 of 2022 in D.V.C.No.306

of 2022 on the file of the IV Metropolitan Magistrate (Traffic Mobile

Court), Hyderabad.

2. Since the petitioners are one and the same in both the revisions,

they heard together and disposed of by way of this common order.

3. Heard Mr.K.Karuna Sagar, learned counsel for the petitioners,

Mr.Jithender Rao Veeramalla, learned Additional Public Prosecutor

appearing for the respondent No.1-State and learned counsel for the

respondent No.2.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the

direction of this Court on 11.06.2025 has been complied by depositing

the amount of Rs.3,89,000/- before the trial Court. He further pleads

that as the impugned maintenance granted in Crl.M.P.Nos.817 and 866

of 2022 and consequent Crl.A.Nos.7 and 8 of 2024 these revisions have

been preferred. However, as the D.V.C proceedings are at the stage of

trial and also the DVC which was filed in the year 2022, pressed for a

direction for early disposal of the matter, so that, liabilities and

entitlements be finally determined and that would be in the interest of

both the parties.

5. Learned counsel for the respondent No.2 reported no specific

objection for direction of earlier disposal.

6. I have perused the materials on record.

7. Having regard to the fact that the impugned orders are pertaining

to the interim maintenance and as the DVC is ripe for trial and the

parties are in agreement for early disposal of the matter, learned

Magistrate is directed to prioritize these matters after affording

reasonable opportunities to the parties to adjudicate the DVC at the

earliest preferably within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of

receipt of a copy of this order.

8. With this direction, these criminal revision cases are disposed of.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
