CONTEMPT CASE No.449 OF 2025
ORDER:
The Contempt Case is filed seeking punishment to the
respondents under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act,
1971 for violation and wilful disobedience in implementing the order
of this Court dated 03.05.2024 passed in W.P.(TR).No.5997 of 2017
and to pass such other order or orders.
2. Vide order dated 03.05.2024 in W.P.(TR).No.5997 of 2017, this
Court had directed the respondents to consider the representation of
the petitioner dated 20.07.2015 addressed to respondents No.2 and 1
respectively and the respondents were directed to peruse the record
and pass appropriate orders on the said representation, in accordance
with law, keeping in view of the judgment of this Court in
W.P.No.24941 of 2007 and also the orders dated 06.06.2015 passed
by respondent No.4, within a period of three (03) months from the
date of receipt of a copy of the order. Alleging non-compliance of the
said order, the present Contempt Case has been filed.
3. The respondents have filed a memo dated 27.03.2025 enclosing
therewith the copy of the proceedings dated 19.03.2025 wherein the
request of the petitioner to reinstate into service has been considered
but was rejected.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to challenge the
said proceedings.
5. In view of the same, the Contempt Case is closed with liberty as
prayed for. There shall be no order as to costs.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand
dismissed.
