                  WRIT APPEAL No.853 of 2023
JUDGMENT: (per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Alok Aradhe)

      Mr. M. Saleem, learned counsel appears for the

appellants.

2.    This intra court appeal is filed against an interim order

dated 18.08.2023 passed by the learned Single Judge in Writ

Petition No.20097 of 2023.

3.    In the aforesaid order, the learned Single Judge held that

the result of the election of the Indian Red Cross Society,

Hyderabad District, shall be subject to outcome of the writ

petition. It was further observed that the Election Officer shall

be at liberty to declare the result of the elections which shall be

subject to further orders.

4.    We have heard the learned counsel for the appellants at

length.

5.    The appellants filed Writ Petition No.20097 of 2023 in

which a Writ of Certiorari was sought for quashment of

notification dated 10.07.2023 which was issued for conducting

elections to the Management Committee of the Indian Red

Cross Society, Hyderabad District. In response to the aforesaid

notification, the elections were scheduled to be held on

30.07.2023. The appellants sought an interim order restraining

respondent No.4 from declaring the result of the elections

which were scheduled to be held on 30.07.2023. The learned

Single Judge by an order dated 18.08.2023 did not accede to

the aforesaid prayer.

6. It is not in dispute that the elections have already been

held on 30.07.2023 and the result of the same has been

declared on 21.08.2023.

7. In view of aforesaid subsequent event, nothing survives

for adjudication in this Writ Appeal.

8. In the result, the Writ Appeal is dismissed as

infructuous.

Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand

closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
