1. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with
the following prayer:-
"It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this writ petition may kindly be allowed with costs and by issuing an appropriate writ, order, or direction,
(i) The time period of license granted with respect to the catering unit of the petitioner in pursuance of master license agreement dated 04.01.2022 (Ann-2) and letter dated 26.11.2024 (Ann-3), may kindly be suitably extended;

(ii) Any other favourable to the petitioner may also be passed.
(iii) Cost of the writ petition may be awarded."
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue
raised in the present writ petition is similar to the one raised in
S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.16220/2024; Tulsa Nenwani Vs.
Union of India & Anr. (decided on 10.10.2024) wherein a Co-
ordinate Bench of this Court disposed of the writ petition while
considering the judgment passed by the Delhi High Court in the
case of Manohar Bachani vs. Union of India & Ors.; W.P. (C)
12398/2024 (decided on 11.09.2024). The Court in the case of
Tulsa Nenwani (supra) held as under:
"3. Learned counsel for the respondents though vehemently opposed the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner however, he was not in a position to satisfy this Court as to how the case of the present petitioner is distinguishable with the case of "Manohar Bachani" (supra).
4. Considering the aforesaid, it is directed that the contract of General Minor Unit (GMU) granted to the petitioner shall be extended for a period of seven months w.e.f. 17 th August 2025. It is however made clear that the petitioner shall vacate and handover the stall in question to the respondent immediately on or before the expiry of the aforesaid period.
5. The present writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of."
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the
present writ petition be also disposed of in the above terms.
4. Learned counsel for the respondents does not refute the
submission as made by learned counsel for the petitioner.
5. In view of the submissions made above, the present writ
petition is disposed of in the same terms as Tulsa Nenwani
(supra). It is directed that the petitioner's contract for General
[2025:RJ-JD:35831] (3 of 3) [CW-14494/2025]
Minor Unit shall be extended for a period of seven months from
17.08.2025.
6. Needless to observe that the petitioner shall be under an
obligation to handover the vacant possession of the stall/premises
in question to the concerned authority on or before the expiry of
the aforesaid period.
7. Pending application(s), if any, stand(s) disposed of.
