The instant criminal writ petition has been filed on behalf of

the petitioner claiming for the following reliefs:-

"It is most humbly prayed that the present writ petition may kindly be allowed and:

(i) By appropriate writ order or direction, the respondent no. 2 and 3 may kindly be directed to provide adequate security to the petitioner so as to ensure their peaceful life.

(ii) By appropriate writ order or direction the private Respondents and other persons may kindly be directed not to interfere by way of extending threat to life and any other manner with the life of the petitioner.

iii) That the Petitioner may be allowed the cost of Writ Petition.

iv) That any other relief which this Hon'ble Court deem fit, by which the Petitioner may get full justice may also be allowed."

The petitioner fears threat at the hands of private

respondents who have threatened to kill the petitioner and his

family members. A representation was submitted by the petitioner

to the Superintendent of Police, District Bhilwara with a request to

provide adequate security to him and his family members. A copy

of the representation dated 10.03.2025 has been tendered in the

Court and taken on record. Thus, taking cue from the judgment

rendered by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of "Lata

Singh Vs. State of U.P." Reported in AIR 2006 SC 2522, the

prayer made by the petitioner for directing the Superintendent of

Police, Bhilwara to provide protection to the petitioner deserves to

be accepted.

The Superintendent of Police, Bhilwara shall have the matter

enquired into and if so required, appropriate protection shall be

provided to the petitioner and his family members as and when

[2025:RJ-JD:19912] (3 of 3) [CRLW-1065/2025]
