Learned counsel for the petitioners wants to withdraw this

criminal writ petition as he has instructions to approach the Nodal

Officer appointed by the State Government in pursuance of

[2024:RJ-JP:3315] (2 of 2) [CRLW-86/2024]

Circular dated 18.01.2019 issued from the Office of Director

General of Police, Rajasthan for protection of couples who are

residing together out of their free will and volition against the

wishes of their family members.

The criminal writ petition is dismissed accordingly with liberty

as aforesaid.

It goes without saying that if any such request is made, the

Nodal Officer shall take the requisite steps in accordance with law

expediently.
