AWARD OF LOK ADALAT Date: 09.09.2023

The matter is placed before the Lok Adalat today. The MACT, Udaipur by its judgment and award dated 28.07.201 1 in MAC Case No.32712010 awarded a sum of Rs.l,75,0001- alongwith interest @ 8% per a-III? L1111.

With the consent of the parties, the impugned award dated 28.07.201 1 is further enlianced by Rs.35,000/- in favour of the claimant(s)/appellant(s) as a full and final settlement of the case. The amount so agreed shall be deposited by the respondent Insurance Company with the Tribunal within a period of two months from today fa.ling which, the same shall carry interest @ 7.5% per annum fi-om the date of this order till actual realization. The enhanced amount of compensation be disbursed in terms of the -award. in the saving bank account of the claimant(s). The award impugned dated 28.07.20 1 1 passed by MACT, Uda.ipur in Claim Case No.327120 10 is modified accordingly.

In view of the above, the appeal is disposed of. The Registry is directed to send back the record, if any, forthwith.
