03/11/2023
1. The order under consideration was passed following the
judgment dated 08.01.2020 passed by Division Bench of this
Court in the case of Namonarayan Sharma & Ors. Vs. State of
Rajasthan & Ors. : D.B. SAW No. 908/2017.
2. Learned counsel for the respondent - State pointed out that
on 25.11.2020, Hon'ble the Supreme Court has stayed the
proceedings alleging violation of the order in the case of
Namonarayan Sharma (supra).
3. In view of the aforesaid, this Court is not inclined to continue
with the contempt proceedings.

4. Notices of contempt served to the respondent Nos. 1 to 3 are
hereby discharged.
5. The contempt petition stands disposed of.
6. Needless to observe that in case judgment rendered in the
case of Namonarayan Sharma (supra) passed by the Division
Bench is affirmed, the petitioner shall be free to initiate fresh
proceedings of contempt in accordance with law.
