Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the issue
raised in the present petition is similar to SBCWP No.8591/2017:
Ugam Singh & Ors. v. State of Rajasthan & Ors., decided on
19.09.2022 and therefore, the similar order be passed in the
present writ petition.
In SBCWP No.8591/2017, a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court,
inter-alia, directed as under:-
"These writ petitions have been filed jointly by the
petitioners, inter alia seeking mandamus to the
respondents to regularize their services, in light of the
judgment of Gauhati High Court rendered in Civil Rule
No. 202/1998 decided on 08.9.2000.
Without going into the merit of the case, it is
deemed expedient and hence ordered that the
petitioners shall file a representation before the
respondent No. 2,who shall decide the same in
accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a

period of three months from today keeping in view the
judgment of Gauhati High Court rendered above."
In view of the submissions made, the present writ petition is
disposed of with the similar directions as given in the case of
Ugam Singh & Ors. (supra).
The order has been passed based on the submissions made
in the petition, the respondents would be free to examine the
veracity of the submissions made in the petition and only in case,
the averments made therein are found to be correct, the
petitioners would be entitled to the relief.
