1. By way of the present petition, the petitioner has sought

proceedings for contempt against the respondents for

non-compliance of the order dated 04.08.2020.

2. A perusal of the order dated 04.08.2020 shows that this

Court had directed the respondents to consider petitioner's

representation in light of law laid down in Anokh Bai's case.

3. Mr. Gaur, learned Additional Advocate General invited Court's

attention towards the order dated 16.10.2020 (Annx.3) filed with

the contempt petition and submitted that due compliance of the

[2023/RJJD/007030] (2 of 2) [WCP-725/2020]

order passed by this Court has been made and if the petitioner is

in any manner aggrieved with the said decision dated 16.10.2020,

he should avail other remedies, in accordance with law.

4. Heard Mr. Gaur, learned Additional Advocate General and

perused the record. It is not in dispute that order dated

04.08.2020 required the respondents to decide petitioner's

representation, in accordance with law, including the judgment in

case of Anokh Bai. In furtherance whereof the competent

authority- the respondents have passed order dated 16.10.2020.

5. So far as compliance of the order under consideration is

concerned, the same has been made well within a period of three

months.

6. In view of aforesaid, contempt petition cannot continue any

further. If the petitioner has any grievance against the order dated

16.10.2020, he has to avail other remedies in accordance with

law.

7. While dismissing the present contempt petition, the

petitioner is given liberty to take up his remedies against order

dated 16.10.2020, if so desired.
