1. The petitioner has filed the present writ petition assailing the

order dated 24.08.2021, passed by the Rent Tribunal No.2, Jaipur

Metropolitan-I, Jaipur (in short 'the Rent Tribunal') whereby the

Rent Tribunal allowed the application of the tenant for cross-

examination.

2. Counsel for the petitioner instead of arguing the case on

merits, made a limited prayer that the Rent Tribunal may be

directed to dispose the rent application in time bound manner.

3. The Rent Application was filed before the Rent Tribunal in the

year 2020, and the notices were served upon the respondent on

31.08.2020.

[2023:RJ-JP:17554] (2 of 2) [CW-11868/2021]

4. On consideration of the arguments advanced by the counsel

for the petitioner and the material available on record, this Court

feels that, ends of justice would meet, if the Rent Tribunal, Jaipur

is directed to dispose of the rent application at the earliest.

5. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with the

directions to the Rent Tribunal, Jaipur, to dispose of the rent

application expeditiously and preferably within a period of six

months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

6. Since the main petition has been disposed of, the stay

application and all other pending application/s, if any, also stands

disposed of.

7. Office is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the

concerned Rent Tribunal for compliance.
