The matter comes on application (I/A No. 01/22) for taking legal representatives of respondent No.5 Abdul Mazid on record who has died on 01.05.2021.

For the reasons mentioned in the application, the application is disposed of and the legal representatives of respondent No.5 are taken on record. Amended cause title has been filed and the same is taken on record.

Another application (I/A No.02/22) has been preferred on behalf of counsel for the petitioners with a prayer for extension of interim order dated 12.08.2008.

A perusal of the interim order dated 12.08.2008 makes it clear that the same was absolute.

However, in view of the Hon'ble Apex Court judgment passed in the case of Asian Resurfacing of Road Agency Vs. Central Bureau of Investigation; 2018 (16) SCC 299. The interim order dated 12.08.2008 is extended for a further period of six months or till the disposal of the suit whichever is earlier.

The application for extension of interim order is disposed of.
