Heard counsel for both parties on stay application.
Appellants-plaintiffs assailed the registered relinquishment
deed by filing a suit, which was dismissed vide impugned
judgment dated 25.02.2017.
At the time of filing the appeal, no stay application was filed
by appellants. The first appeal was admitted for hearing on
01.12.2018. Thereafter, stay application has been filed on
20.07.2021 without any change in circumstances. Appellants'
avertments in the application and in subsequent additional
affidavit without any specification is that respondent No.1 is trying
to sell the property in question, and such avertments have been
controverted and denied by respondents.
The stay application is not bona fide and suffers from lack of
details. As such the stay application is dismissed.
