The matter comes up for orders on the application under

Section 389 Cr.P.C. seeking suspension of sentence awarded to the

applicant-appellant by learned Additional Sessions Judge No.2,

Hanumangarh in Sessions Case No.65/2018 (CIS No.65/2018).

Heard learned counsel for the applicant-appellant and the

learned Public Prosecutor.

Having considered the submissions raised at the Bar and

after going through the impugned judgment and record, we find

that there are distinct allegations of prosecution witnesses

regarding the appellant inflicting the fatal iron rod blow to his wife

Smt. Savitri.

In this background, considering the nature and gravity of the

allegations, we are not inclined to suspend the sentence awarded

to the applicant-appellant.

Thus, the application seeking suspension of sentence is

dismissed.
