1. The present contempt petition has been filed alleging non-

compliance of the order dated 29.01.2018 which was passed in

light of judgment dated 15.12.2017 of Coordinate Bench of this

Court in the case of Sukh Lal Yadav Vs. State of Rajasthan &

Ors. : SB Civil Writ Petition No.12427/2017.

2. Mr. Beniwal, learned Additional Advocate General submits

that the judgment dated 15.12.2017 had been stayed by the

concerned Bench in a review petition filed against the said

(2 of 2) [WCP-962/2018]

judgment (SB Review Petition No.162/2018 : State of Rajasthan &

Ors. Vs. Sukh Lal Yadav), vide order dated 23.05.2019, which has

been placed on record as Annex.R/1.

3. In view of the aforesaid, this Court is not inclined to continue

with the present contempt proceedings.

4. Notices of contempt are hereby discharged.

5. The contempt petition stands disposed of for statistical

purposes.

6. Needless to observe that in case the above referred review

petition filed by the State is rejected or the order dated

15.12.2017 otherwise upheld, the petitioner shall be free to take

appropriate proceedings, including revival of the contempt

petition.
