The case is listed in the 'Orders' category on application for

early hearing of the matter.

With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the

matter is being heard and decided finally today itself.

Learned counsel for the parties are in agreement that the

issue involved in the present case is squarely covered by the

(2 of 2) [CW-17178/2019]

judgment passed by this Court in S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.

13686/2015 (Roop Raj Chhangani Vs. State of Rajasthan

and ors.) decided on 06.09.2022.

For the reasons mentioned, the present writ petition is

allowed with a direction to the respondents to reimburse the

amount of expenditure incurred in the treatment of Shri Dayal

Singh as applicable in the Rules within a period of four weeks from

the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order. The amount

shall be paid with interest @ 6% per annum.

It is made clear that the legal representatives of the

petitioner shall provide the entire documents with respect to the

treatment undertaken by Shri Dayal Singh.
