----Respondents

For Petitioner(s) : Mr. Manoj Purohit

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIJAY BISHNOI

Judgment / Order

13/07/2021

By way of this writ petition, the petitioner is claiming

that she had purchased the land in question from one of

the Ex-Jagirdar and, thereafter, made several

representations to the concerned authorities to mutate

the land in her favour in the revenue record, however,

the respondents have not mutated the same in her favour

on the ground that the matter with respect to the land

admeasuring 6620 bighas 19 biswas of village Nava,

Tehsil and District Nagaur situated in several khasras is

pending consideration with the committee constituted

(2 of 3) [CW-8459/2021]

pursuant to the order dated 29.2.2012 passed by this

Court at Jaipur Bench in S.B. Civil Writ Petition

No.6958/2004.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that

though the said committee has submitted its report on

11th November, 2014 with the observation that 6620

bighas of the land is already allotted to the Ex-Jagirdars

as per the order of the Khudkasth Aayukta and,

therefore, there is no requirement of making any change

in respect of the said land.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has argued that

after the report of the said committee, it is clear that the

land of Ex-Jagirdars is not involved in the said dispute and petitioner being the purchaser of the said land from

one of the Ex-Jagirdar is entitled to get her name

recorded in the revenue record. Learned counsel for the

petitioner has submitted that despite several requests,

the concerned officials are not recording name of the

petitioner in the revenue record.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and

after going through the material available on record, this

writ petition is disposed of with an observation that the

petitioner may approach the concerned authority for

getting her name recorded in the revenue record. If any

such attempt is made by the petitioner, it is expected that

the authority concerned shall consider the request of the

(3 of 3) [CW-8459/2021]

petitioner and decide the same strictly in accordance with

law expeditiously.
