The petitioner has been convicted for murdering his own son

Peeraram and has undergone total sentence of more than seven

years till date.

The application for first parole filed on behalf of the

petitioner has been dismissed on the ground that his family

members and neighbours have expressed apprehension opposing

release of the petitioner on parole. The petitioner's wife Teeja Devi

is 68 years old. Thus, it can be presumed that the petitioner would

be elder than her.

In this background, we hereby direct that a competent Para

Legal Volunteer approved by Secretary, State Legal Service

Authority, Jodhpur shall visit the petitioner at the Central Jail,

Jodhpur and shall inquire from him as to where he would go in the

event of being released on parole and names of the persons who

would stand surety for him in such eventuality.
