Judgment / Order

15/01/2021

1. Petitioner has preferred this D.B. Civil Review Petition against

the order dated 08.12.2020, stating therein that in the impugned

order dated 08.12.2020, the argument with regard to reduction in

the Basic Licence Fees was not considered. It is contended that

the ground for reduction in the Basic Licence Fees was raised in

(2 of 2) [WRW-150/2020]

the writ petition and a relief with regard to same was also prayed

for.

2. Counsel for the petitioner has drawn our attention to Clause-

4.7 of the Excise and Temperance Policy for 2020-21 dated

08.02.2020, wherein it is mentioned that if there is re-tendering,

then the Basic Licence Fees would be payable for the remaining

part of the year.

3. We have considered the arguments.

4. Clause 4.7 of the Excise and Temperance Policy for 2020-21

dated 08.02.2020 has no applicability to the present case in hand,

as there is no re-tendering. No ground is made out in the Review

Petition.

5. Accordingly, D.B. Civil Review Petition is dismissed with no

cost.
