1. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in spite of

the judgment passed by this Court, which has been affirmed till

Supreme Court, the respondents are not giving appointments to

the petitioners and all their efforts, including agitation, have borne

no fruits.

2. A reply to the writ petition has been filed, inter alia,

indicating that the needful cannot be done unless the State

sanctions the additional posts. It is stated in the reply that the

Director has written to the Principal Secretary, Department of

Education, State Government for sanctioning requisite posts (345

posts), but the needful has not been done so far.

3. List these cases on 18.02.2021.

4. Meanwhile, the Principal Secretary, Department of Education,

respondent No.1 is directed to do the requisite exercise of

sanctioning of the posts so that the petitioners and other similarly

situated unemployed persons who are waiting for years are

accorded appointments.

5. In case the needful is not done by the next date, the

respondent shall file an affidavit of the Principal Secretary,

Department of Education indicating the reasons for which the

direction of this Court has not been carried out.

6. A copy of this order be sent forthwith to the Principal

Secretary, Department of Education.
