1. Through the instant petition filed under Section 482 of the

Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short "BNSS"), the petitioner petitionerss

seek anticipatory bail in case FIR No.54 dated 11.03.2026 registered under

Sections 115(2), 118(1), 126(2), 191(3) and 190 of the Bharatiya Nyaya

Sanhita, 2023, at Police Station Sadar Amritsar, District Police

Commissionerate Amritsar.

2. On 17.04.2026, the following order was passed by this Court: -

"Prayer Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 is for grant of anticipatory bai baill to the petitioners in case FIR No.54 dated 11.03.2026 registered under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 126(2), 191(3) and 190 of the Bharatiya Nyaya

Learned counsel for the he petitioners has submitted that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in the present case and they have no concern with the said incident. He argued that the alleged occurrence took place on 18.02.2026 but the FIR in question was registered on 11.03.2026 11.03.2026 i.e. after an unexplained delay of 21 days, casting serious doubt on the prosecution story. He further argued that in fact, the petitioners and their family members are the victims at the hands of the complainant party who are the aggressors and st started arted quarreling with the petitioners with sharp edged weapons and regarding which, a complaint was also submitted in the police station but no action was taken. He further argued that the residents of the locality collectively presented a majornama before the police in which they had clearly stated that there is no truth in the allegations levelled in the present FIR and it is the Bechan Paswan's family who had created an atmosphere of terror and are harassing the entire locality and that the injuries suff suffered ered by the complainant are false and self inflicted injuries. Moreover, the petitioners have clean antecedents as they are not involved in any other case and no recovery is to be effected from them. Learned counsel has further submitted that the petitione petitioners rs are ready and willing to join the investigation as and when called upon to do so by the investigating agency.

Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Ravinder Singh, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent respondent-State State and seeks time to file status report in the matter.

In the meantime, the petitioners are directed to join investigation within a week from today and would appear as and when required by the Investigating Officer and cooperate with GURPREET the Investigating Agency.

admitted to interim bail on furnishing of bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. The petitioners shall also abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023."

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner petitioners submits that in compliance of

the order dated 17.04.2026 passed by this Court, the petitioner petitioners have joined

the investigation.

4. Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from SI Ajay

Kumar, has submitted that the petitioners petitioner ha have joined the investigation and

are no longer required for further investigation.

5. In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the

interim order dated 17.04.2026 passed by this Court, is made absolute. The

petitioners shall continue to join investigation, as and when called by the

Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under

Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
