21. 1. Learned Additional Standing Counsel furnished instruction vide Letter No.141/LA, dated 12th March, 2026 issued by the Land Acquisition Officer, Sambalpur to the Office of the learned Advocate General, Odisha, Cuttack. The same is taken on record.

2. Perusal of the aforesaid instruction reveals that the Land Acquisition Officer, Sambalpur has requested the Superintending Engineer, MI Division, Sambalpur to settle the matter by approving payment of the decretal amount awarded by the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Sambalpur vide judgment/award dated 7th December, 2010 in LA Case No.63 of 1995.

3. Perusal of the memorandum of Land Acquisition Appeal filed before this Court reveals as follows:-

"The present appeal is valued at Rs.31,026.13p."

4. This Land Acquisition Appeal is filed in the year 2011. Though all concerned are well aware of the date of this Lok Adalat being fixed today (14th March, 2026), the matter has not been progressed with dispatch and sensitivity.

5. However, on the requested of the learned Additional Standing Counsel, this matter stands deferred and directed to be posted in the next Lok Adalat.
