1. 1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. Grievance of the Petitioner in this writ petition is with regard to inaction of the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Lower Indra Irrigation Project, Khariar in disposing of his application under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (for brevity, 'the Act'). The said application has been filed for redetermination of compensation in terms of the judgment dated 12th September, 2023 passed by the learned Civil Judge (Sr. Division), Nuapada in L.A.R. No.10 of 2021 in a reference under Section 18 of the Act.

3. Mr. Nayak, learned Additional Government Advocate prays for an adjournment to take instruction in the matter.

4. Accordingly, the matter stands adjourned, to be listed on 18th May, 2026.

5. Instruction with regard to current status of the application filed by the Petitioner under Section 28-A of the Act shall be obtained by that date positively.
