2. Ms. Sarita Moharana, learned counsel for the State is present.

3. The present criminal appeal filed by the sole appellant is directed against the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 19.01.2007 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Cuttack in G.R. Case No. 151 of 2003, whereby the learned trial Court has convicted the accused-appellant for the offence punishable under Section 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act and, accordingly sentenced him to undergo R.I. for five years and to pay a fine of Rs.20,000/-, in default of payment of fine to undergo R.I. for six months.

4. The appeal is ready for hearing.

5. List this matter on 05.08.2025.

6. If none appears for the appellant on the next date of hearing, Amicus Curiae will be appointed to assist this Court in the matter.
